Abstract

Quality of supervisor feedback plays a significant role in improving student’s competency. The research is based on investigating the connection between the effectiveness of the feedback given by supervisors and the competency of future teachers at university level. The research design used was quantitative and correlational research. The population was comprised of potential teachers in two public universities in Lahore. The sample was selected by using the simple random sampling technique. Data was collected by using questionnaire and analysis was done in SPSS. The results showed that there was a strong positive relationship between the quality of supervisor’s feedback and competency of the potential teachers. Considering these findings, this study proposes to organize intensive orientation or training to the supervisors so that they could be able to provide more helpful and actionable feedback.
